Why We Started a Publishing House
Publishing has never been more open. Anyone can upload a book to Amazon tonight. The problem is that open does not mean easy. We kept meeting authors who had spent years on a manuscript and then lost their nerve at the last step, or who published quickly and watched a weak cover and a typo-filled first page sink a book that deserved better.
Pacific Publishing House exists for that gap. We bring the standards of a traditional house, meaning careful editing, real design, and correct metadata, to authors who want to stay independent. You make the decisions. We make sure those decisions are well informed and well executed.
Our motto is simple: Stories. Insight. Impact. Every book starts as a story someone needs to tell. Our job is to add the insight that gets it ready for readers, and then help it make an impact once it is out in the world.
